Description
This SSS2 cable is designed for newer (roughly 2021+) Paccar MX engine control units. You can identify if the cable is compatible by checking if the ECU has 4 total connectors instead of three. This cable is fully functional with Paccar Davie software, allowing for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) as well as Fast Stop Recorder and Trip Report data to be extracted. The FLA is currently not able to recover speed-related data directly with this method but will recover “baseplate” data. DG Diagnostics will recover similar DTC’s and ECU parameters.
Requirements:
1. This cable requires the J1939 Type II Y-Split “Crossover cable” connected to the SSS2 to fully function. This product is included in the FLA kit.
2. Your SSS2 must be set to 500k on the J1939 and CAN1 channels.
